  1. Use a pointy object like a screwdriver, or your finger if you are handy, to remove the pin.

  3. Ensure to align the headphone and its stem and insert the first part of the hinge inside

  5. Using the iFixit opening tool, or any object made to break if you apply pressure that is too high, insert the hinge cover. It is the smaller piece that cover the stem. Do not hesitate to apply force, because everything is very tight.

  7. Do this the same way the screw was removed; by applying pressure on the screw.
  8. To adjust the stem, you need to apply a lot of force because everything is tight. The friction could make it easier to adjust over time, or it may be easier for you if you use another hinge
