Steps:

  1. Gently bend the silicone watch band to get an idea of the size/severity of the tear.

  3. Gently bend the watch strap to expose the inner part of the tear and use an alcohol wipe to thoroughly clean the area surrounding and inside the tear.
  4. Allow the silicone band to air dry until no longer visibly wet.

  6. Squeeze out a small dot of the UV curable glue onto a clean wooden toothpick.

  8. Bend the watch band to expose the inner part of the tear.
  9. Apply the dot of glue to the inner part of the tear.
  10. Release the band from the bent position so that it lies in its natural position.
  11. Using a new toothpick, wipe away excess glue that may have splurged out of the tear on both sides of the band.
  12. Wipe the toothpick across the glue from the inner part of the tear to the outer edge of the watch band to create a thin, even layer of glue across the outer surface of the tear.

  14. Cure the glue with a UV light for 30-45 seconds.

  16. Gently bend the watch band to test the strength of the bond.
  17. If the bond is not satisfactory, repeat steps 4-5 to strengthen the bond further and test again.

  19. If remaining texture from the dried glue is not aesthetically pleasing, carefully use a nail buffer to smooth out any excess texture. (optional)
