Steps:

1. Make sure your device is off, and no other power supply is connected.
2. Flip your device upside down.

3. Push in the black tab securing the battery compartment panel.
4. Lift up the panel.

5. Remove the discharged batteries and replace them with new 3 X D alkaline batteries.

6. Remove the four screws in the battery compartment.
7. Remove the batteries first

8. After unscrewing, you’ll see the machinery inside your device.
