ID: 178652

Description:

Steps:

  1. First unscrew the 4 accessible screws on the bottom of the unit

  3. There are 4 more screws here. To access them, you need peel off the rubber pads. If you are careful, you can get away with not peeling them off completely. In this image, the purple areas mark the areas that I found relatively "safe" to peel off to be able to get access to the screws but also allowed to gently push the pads back on.

  5. After removing the screws under the rubber pads, the backplate should gently fall off under it's own weight. If not, help a little with plastic opening tools.
  6. Now you have access to the SD card, the raspberry pi 4 compute module, the Intel WiFi Chip, the battery, and the builtin 8 Ohm 2W speakers.
  7. Taking apart the unit further than this holds the risk of damaging it significantly, so only progress with lots of caution.
