Steps:

1. Remove the SD card located on the right side of the device by pushing into the SD card slot and pulling the card out.
2. Remove the six 1.2 mm screws that secure the back case with a 1.5 Hex Bit screwdriver.

3. Insert an opening tool into the MicroSD card slot and twist it clockwise to begin releasing the rear case.
4. You'll hear "clicks" as the retaining clips release.
5. Pry around the entire perimeter until the rear case fully releases.
6. Remove the rear case.

7. Use your fingernails or tweezers to gently remove the battery connector from its socket.

8. Use a spudger to gently pry around the perimeter of the battery until it releases.
9. Take care not to bend or puncture the battery.
10. If the battery is stubborn, use a hairdryer to heat the battery and loosen the adhesive that secures it to the chassis.
11. Remove the battery.
