Steps:

1. Set the projector on its side so the the front is facing to your left.
2. Insert an opening tool into the seam between the black chassis and the silver case.
3. Pry around the perimeter until the case fully releases.
4. When removing the cover, be careful as there is an internal connector attached to the lid and the projectors motherboard. You’ll have to carefully detach that before fully removing the projector case.
5. Remove the case.

6. Remove both of the 5.5 mm screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

7. Use your fingernails to gently disconnect the motor connector from its motherboard socket.
8. Remove the focus motor.

9. Face the lens towards you.
10. Remove the four small black screws around the lens with a Phillips screwdriver.

11. Remove the two silver screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
12. Remove the lens.
