Description: Hello and welcome to the battery replacement...

Steps:

  1. Remove the earpads. These are fixed by a band on the short sides.
  2. The Band is fixed with the earpads. You cant loose it.
  3. To remove:
  4. Grab the earpad on one of the shorter sides.
  5. Pull on the earpad carefully, until the band slips out of the guide bar.
  6. It's helpful to remove both ear pads, as we'll be working on the battery later, which involves soldering. This will prevent solder spatter from getting on the ear pads.

  8. Remove the Cover of the right Earpice.
  9. For this, remove the three screws with an J0-Screwdriver
  10. All Screws are the same size and can be used at any of those locations.
  11. Careful! The speaker stays attached. There is a cable running to a circuit board and we wont be removing it. Do not pull on the cable! Don`t break it.
  12. The speaker is magnetic. We recommend carefully removing the screws and storing them safely at a safe distance. They can be attracted by the magnet.

  14. Use a soldering iron to carefully desolder the three wires of the old battery from the circuit board.
  15. Remember the colors and their positions, so you can resolder it in the correct locations.
  16. Desolder the cables one by one and make sure to isolate them instantly afterwards. This is very important, because we don´t want to cause a short.
  17. Pull the battery out. You will need some strength - it is attaced using doubel sided tape.
  18. Do not use metal tools to remove the battery—this could damage it. Be careful not to damage any cables or soldering points during the entire process.

  21. Insert the new battery and press it gently to ensure it is securely in place.
  22. Resolder the three cables on the circuit board
  23. Be sure to correctly color-code the cables. Avoid short circuits and take care not to damage any cables or soldering points.
  24. In my case the new battery is from CELLONIC. But other companys work as well. The original battery was a 1100mAh 4.07Wh rated Voltage 3.7Vd.c.

  27. Secure it with the three screws you removed earlier. These screws are embedded in plastic, so don't overtighten them.
  28. Now test the function of the new battery before reattaching the ear pads:
  29. Connect the headset to a charging cable.
  30. Check if the charging process starts and if the headset can be turned on.
  31. Optional: Use a USB meter to check charging speed, voltage, or mAh value.

  33. First, insert the earpad into the corresponding guide at the top.
  34. Carefully pull down until the band slips in the bottom bar.
  35. Inserting the cushion requires a bit of finesse – take your time to ensure it is positioned neatly and evenly.
  36. Repeat the process for both sides if you removed both ear cushions at the beginning.
