Steps:

1. Place the camera on its side to expose the camera's battery compartment.

2. Gently push down on the dots and slide the lid downwards until it is completely removed.

3. Remove the old batteries and dispose of them according to local regulation.

4. Place new AA batteries in the empty slots, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on each battery are lined up according to the slots.

5. Gently slide back the compartment lid upwards into the camera.
6. You will hear a "click" when it is secured.
