Steps:

1. Disconnect the espresso machine from the power supply, then remove the housing cover.

2. Release the two screws on the inside of the rear panel.

3. The back cover is secured with a clip on both sides at the bottom. You can simply pull the back cover off. You may need to use some force.

4. To remove the metal cover, release the three screws and remove the cover.

5. Unplug the hose from the water tank connection. Release the two screws of the water tank connection.

6. There are two seals present. A small black seal below the water tank socket. This presses the socket against the connector on the water tank. Another seal, for lateral sealing, is located in the water tank receptacle.
7. It is best to replace both. As a rule, both seals are included in the spare parts package. In the image, the transparent seal is old. The new seal is blue and has already been installed.
