Leica CS20 Screen Replacement

Steps:

1. I did it again!

2. I am tired to pay 1200 EUR to Leica service center, so I ordered a new replacement screent here: www.xsurveying.com/product/new-leica-cs20-digitizer-screen-replacement Price with delivery was around 185 EUR

3. The package arrived in two weeks. It contained a well packed touchscreen

4. Place controller on a desk

5. …and unscrew all the bolts

6. Also, remove the bottom plastic lid

7. …in order to unscrew these two black bolts. Place them separately.

8. These bolts also should be unscrewed.

9. After that the controller’s back wall can be removed

10. Unscrew these four bolts

11. Unscrew these two small bolts. Place them separately.

12. Unscrew these two plastic bolts. Place them separately.

13. Now the last two bolts can be unscrewed

14. This GNSS antenna connector will be disconnected when you pull out the metal cage

15. …than pull out this board carefully

16. So you wil get an access to this ribbon cable

17. ...unclip it!

18. Also, unclip the kyocera-connector to this ribbon cable

19. Proceed with great caution!

20. Unclip the touchscreen ribbon cable

21. Now you are able to remove the whole board…

22. And finally, change the screen!
