Steps:
- Use a TR10 Torx screwdriver to remove the two 10 mm screws on the side of the base station, above the USB ports.
- Pull apart the top case from the bottom.
- This may require some force as there are internal catches.
- Use a TR10 Torx screwdriver to remove the two 10 mm screws to disconnect the motherboard from the base casing.
- The motherboard is connected to the USB ports; when removing it be careful to gently remove the USB ports from their cavities to avoid any damage.
- Follow the black wire running from each thin metal sensor to the motherboard; they will be connected under a piece of black tape.
- Pull back the black tape to see where the wire you are following attaches to the motherboard.
- Pull up on the coaxial connector to disconnect the wire from the motherboard.
- Snake the wires through any place where it goes through the plastic casing.
- Gently pull the metal sensor away from the plastic casing to fully disconnect it from the motherboard.
