Steps:

1. Place the notebook on the table, with the battery facing away from you.
2. Slide the switch from "lock" to "unlock" with your right hand on the right side of the computer.
3. Maintain holding the right switch in the "unlock" position.
4. Use your left hand to slide the left switch from "lock" to "unlock".

5. Maintain both left and right switches in the "unlock" position.
6. Use your forefingers to push the battery out of the computer.

7. Locate the DDR panel and unscrew the two 3.65mm Phillips #1 screws holding it in place.
8. Use the spudger to lift the DDR panel off.

9. Push in the tabs on the sides that contain the RAM.
10. Gently raise the RAM up to a 45 degree angle and gently pull the RAM towards you.
