Steps:

1. Be sure phone is powered off before removing the battery.
2. Push the tab located at the bottom of the battery towards the top of the phone.
3. Lift the battery away from the phone.

4. Grasp the antenna between two fingers and turn it counterclockwise until it is unscrewed.
5. Pull the antenna straight out of the phone.

6. Pry off the bottom piece using the spudger.
7. There are notches on the edge of this piece that can be used to aid prying.

8. Remove the sticker overlaying the NEXTEL logo.

9. Using a Torx T8 screwdriver, remove the two screws exposed after removing the sticker by unscrewing counterclockwise.

10. Starting from the bottom and working towards the top, use a spudger to pry the back cover off the phone.
