Steps:

1. Using the spudger, gently pry the desired key up on one side. This will release the key.
2. The key is held in place by very small plastic pieces. Improper removal or installation may damage key permanently and require entire keyboard replacement.

3. Use a brush to remove debris and use a cleaner cloth to remove residue.
4. Similarly, remove debris and residue from the area of the keyboard where the key was originally seated.

5. Once clean, set the key above its original position and firmly press it back into place.
6. If cleaned and installed properly the key should depress smoothly and spring back to normal position once released.
