Steps:

1. Pull the hood release by the driver's side door, close to the floor.

2. Release the latch under the center of the hood to allow it to lift.

3. Use a Torx 25 screwdriver to unscrew the seven screws from the outer edges of the filter housing.
4. The screws are captive and won’t come out all the way. Don’t force them, or you may strip them.

5. Lift the filter housing lid.
6. Remove the old filter.

7. Use a clean rag or paper towel to clean any debris from the filter housing.

8. Place the new air filter into the housing.

9. Replace and tighten the screws.
10. Close and firmly press on the hood to ensure the safety latch is secure.
11. Log your maintenance for future reference.
