Steps:

1. Remove the blade: Push the blade in slightly to the hilt and turn about 1/4 turn counter clockwise. You will feel it pop out.

2. Remove the hilt end caps.
3. The caps at both ends of the hilt will screw off in a counter clockwise direction.

4. Remove the hilt main barrel pieces.
5. Grip the other end of the hilt and twist the barrel piece off using a counter clockwise rotating.

6. Remove the center switch.
7. he center switch is 2 parts and are held in place by the barrel pieces. Pull the side with the switch off, they are color coded to aid in assembly.
8. Remove the back piece of the center switch.

9. Remove the battery pack.
10. Hold the saber body in one hand and with the other twist the black battery box(also has speaker in it) about 1/4 turn clockwise.
11. Pull battery box from the hilt handle.
