Steps:

1. The indicated 3 screws must be removed in order to get to the motherboard.

2. Remove all 3 screws using a T5 Torx Screwdriver.

3. Slide a spudger tool between the phone's exterior case and its internal battery case, starting at the bottom corners. Pry the two components apart using the spudger and move the tool towards the top of the device.
4. As you move toward the top, remove the camera and volume buttons.

5. Remove the internal battery case. This will give you access to the motherboard and other internal components.
6. Do NOT detach the motherboard from the backpiece (attached at the upper left corner by a black strip)
