Steps:

  1. Power off the headset and unplug all cables.

  3. If you're replacing the headset battery, you only need to remove the left ear pad (the side containing the power button).
  4. With one hand, firmly hold an ear cup steady.
  5. With your free hand, slowly pull the ear pad away from the cup until it slides completely off its plastic lip.
  6. Repeat the process to remove the other ear pad.

  8. Installing an ear pad onto the cup can be tricky. Be patient and work slowly—it may take a couple tries.
  9. Orient the ear pad so the wider part is at the top.
  10. With one hand, firmly hold an ear cup steady.
  11. With your free hand, place the pad over the top of the cup, so the black fabric flap slips over the cup's plastic lip.
  12. The ear pad has a clear plastic stiffener. This piece should not slip over the ear cup lip.

  14. Thread the rest of the flap over the lip, working your way around the entire cup. Gently stretch the pad as necessary.
  15. Check the entire perimeter of the cup to make sure the ear pad is fully on. If any of the fabric flap is sticking out, try to push it over the lip or remove the ear pad and try again.
