Steps:

1. Unplug the machine.
2. Make sure the machine is turned off before unplugging the machine.

3. Open the pulley lid.

4. Use a flathead screwdriver to lift the belt in an upward motion to disconnect the old belt.

5. Take off the motor adjusting knob from your drill press.

6. After unscrewing the knob, adjust the motor to the right distance from the pulley spindle.

7. Remove the 36" shoelace and the new replacement belt.
8. Wrap half of the belt around the pulley spindle.
9. Wrap the shoelace onto the other half of the new belt.

10. Start to pull the shoelace towards the pulley motor.
11. Make sure to have the motor in place during this step.

12. Tighten the motor adjusting knob back into place.

13. After setting the belt into place, you can set it up from the top to bottom of both the pulleys.
14. The belt must be leveled in order for the drill press to work properly.

15. Close the pulley lid.

16. Plug the machine back in.

17. Turn on the machine.
