Steps:

  1. To identify a failed window strip, look out for tears or missing rubber along the chrome strip. You will notice the wind being louder when they rot out.

  2. Wrap a metal spudger in a microfiber cloth.
  3. Wedge the spudger in the corner.
  4. Place a finger in the area wedged up, then slide the spudger across the door. Be sure to have an upward push motion with your finger.
  5. Once loosened, work your way to the edge with the same motion.

  6. Compare the removed window belt to the replacement to see which one you have removed.
  7. You can tell by the edge that has no rubber, only chrome.

  8. There is an insert on the edge; be sure to insert the replacement into that nub.
  9. Ensure the clips are inserted in the door gap; the white clip should slide right in.
  10. Once set in position, gently press down on the part.

  11. Peel off the trim, and you are done.
  12. This guide can be repeated for both rear doors of the car.
