Steps:

1. Insert a spudger into the notch on the back cover and gently pry upward until you hear a soft click, indicating the back has begun to separate.
2. Continue prying around the edges until the cover is fully removed.

3. Insert a spudger into the midframe cutout and pry up to release the battery.
4. Remove the battery.

5. Use a JIS #00 screwdriver to remove all nine 4.4 mm screws that secure the midframe.

6. Run the spudger under the midframe to pry it away from the rest of the phone.
7. Be very careful when removing the midframe as too much strain can cause it to snap.
8. Set the midframe aside.

9. Disconnect the ray bone connection.

10. Lift the silicon charging port cover.

11. Pry up the motherboard with the spudger.
12. Run the spudger along the perimeter of the motherboard.
13. Remove the motherboard from the phone.

14. Using the spudger, peel off the keypad.
15. Remove the keypad from the phone.
