Steps:

1. Orient the laptop so that the bottom of the laptop faces towards you.
2. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the eleven 8 mm-long screws that secure the lower case.

3. Insert an opening tool into the seam between the lower case and chassis.
4. Pry around the entire perimeter until the lower case fully releases.
5. Remove the lower case.

6. Grip the white battery connector and pull it directly out of its socket.
7. Do not pull on the cable.

8. Grip the black speaker connector and pull it directly out of the socket.
9. Do not pull on the cable.

10. Gently lift the speakers and their connecting cable from the case.
