Zoe outside temperature sensor Replacement

Description: Renault Zoe no heat Car shows double dashes...

Steps:

1. Adjust mirror max left and down to create a gap at the top
2. Carefully pry out the mirror with a screwdriver near the round center
3. Disconnect mirror heating cable
4. Push on the plastic latch, circled in red, to release the bottom part where the sensor is mounted

5. New sensor soldered in place.
6. The sensor is just pushed in place, easily removed. Harder to re-install.

7. Old sensor characteristics, approximate numbers
8. 3.1 k Ohm @ 20 C (68 F)
9. 9 k Ohm @ 1 C (35 F)
