Steps:

  1. First, pull the control unit out of its housing in the flush-mounted box. To do this, hold the cover on the left and right sides and pull while wiggling it side to side to release the contacts.
  2. The cover should be removed to facilitate the repair. To do this, simply pull it forward to unplug it.
  3. Use a flathead screwdriver to open the tabs of the housing.
  4. Once the housing is open, you can remove the two boards from the housing.
  5. Warning: There may still be voltage present, as the capacitor stores electricity!
