Steps:
- Open the glove compartment.
- Remove all items from the glove compartment.
- Push up firmly on the latch holding the glove compartment in place until the glove compartment is released.
- Lift the glove compartment directly up and remove from the car.
- Squeeze the two latches holding the air filter cover in place.
- Lift the air filter cover out of the way.
- Remove the dirty air filter from the housing.
- Slide the new air filter into the housing.
- Ensure the air flow arrow is pointing down.
- Press the air filter cover down until the latches click.
- Place the glove compartment back onto the latches. Press it up until it fully closes.
- Open the glove compartment and place the contents back in.
- Close the glove compartment.
