Steps:
- Locate the glovebox on the passenger side of the vehicle dashboard.
- Pull the handle to open the glovebox.
- Remove all Items from inside the glovebox.
- Locate the rubber stoppers on both sides of the glovebox.
- Pull the side of the glovebox inward and push down to release the plastic stopper.
- Apply steady pressure if the stopper does not release easily.
- Pull the opposite (left side) of the glovebox inward and push down to release the second plastic stopper.
- Apply steady pressure if the stopper does not release easily.
- Gently press both sides of the glovebox inward, then lower it to access the cabin air filter compartment.
- Press the tabs on both sides of the air filter cover inward, then pull the cover toward you to remove it.
- Gently pull the old air filter straight out of the compartment.
- Insert the new cabin air filter into the compartment.
- Write the day or mileage on the filter for future maintenance tracking.
- Ensure the arrows on the side of the filter are facing downward when installing.
- Align the air filter cover with the housing and push it into place until the side tabs click securely.
- Lift the glovebox back into position.
- Reinsert the rubber stoppers by pushing them into the hole and sliding them upward until they lock in place.
- It might take a few tries.
- Reinsert the second rubber stopper by pushing it into the hole and sliding it upward until it locks in place.
- It might take a few tries.
- Close the glovebox.
