Steps:

1. With one hand, grip the base of the microphone, and with the other, grip the plastic ring at the base of the windscreen.
2. Firmly pull the windscreen off the microphone; there should be little resistance when attempting this, and the windscreen will slide off the metal grille.

3. Remove the screw covers by twisting them counterclockwise.

4. Remove the washers from the mounting screw.

5. Remove the retaining ring from the mounting screw.
6. Remove the yoke bracket.
7. Remove the washers.
8. Removing the yoke bracket without aligning the slotted opening with the mounting screw is not possible.

9. Remove the three mounting screws.
10. Remove the grille.

11. Once the replacement grille is attached, reinstall the mounting screws.
12. Reinstall the washers.
13. Reinstall the yoke mount.
14. Reinstall the retaining ring.
15. Reinstalling the yoke mount after the retaining ring is not possible; the retaining ring must be reinstalled after the yoke mount.

16. Reinstall the washers in the proper order.
17. Reinstall the screw covers.

18. Slide the new windscreen onto the grille.
19. Grip the plastic ring at the base of the windscreen and firmly press it into place on the microphone.
20. You will have successfully installed the new windscreen when you hear a click sound.
