Steps:

  1. Remove the mounting bracket from the device if necessary.
  2. Flip the camera upside down.
  3. The word 'Blink' should be at the top.
  4. Insert the swivel multi-tool that was included in the Blink Outdoor 4 box into the small notch located inside the silver circle in the center of the device.
  5. Twist to the left until you hear a click.

  7. Use a spudger to gently pry the back casing off the device.
  8. Remove the two batteries and set them aside.
  9. When reattaching the back casing, turn the swivel tool to the right.

  11. Remove all four screws near the battery compartments using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
  12. Make sure to keep track of the screws for reassembly.

  14. Turn the device on its side.
  15. Use a plastic spudger to gently pry off the front cover of the device.

  17. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the two small black screws in the upper right corner of the board.
  18. Make sure to keep the screws for reassembly.
  19. Gently lift the motherboard out of the device by its edges.
  20. Do not pull on the board because it's attached to some cables from underneath and it could damage the device.

  22. Squeeze the edges of the white camera connector and slide it out of the socket on the motherboard.
  23. If that doesn't work, use the point of a spudger to push on alternating sides of the white camera connector to "walk" it out of its socket.
  24. It may take a lot of alternating before the connector comes out. Be patient, and don't pull on the cables.
  25. Remove the camera from the device.
