Steps:

1. Position the wall bumper against the door to help determine the correct center point before mounting it on the wall.
2. When aligning the door handle with the wall bumper, ensure the handle’s lock fits securely into the bumper’s opening.

3. Stick a pointed tool in the small hole in the center of the wall bumper.
4. Insert the tool into the hole and aim for the center mark. Keep the wall bumper in place, as moving it will lose the alignment and require restarting Step 1.

5. Use a screwdriver or drill to make a hole through the drywall.
6. After you've made a hole, use an upward and downward motion with the screwdriver to create a bit of space.

7. Insert the drywall anchor into the hole you created.
8. The drywall anchor is a key component for installing the wall bumper. It supports the screw inside the drywall, since drywall alone is not strong enough and may loosen over time.
9. Use a hammer to hit the anchor into the drywall so it is flush.
10. The anchor is really sensitive, so be careful when hitting it in the hole.

11. Place the rubber part on top of the metal part of the door bumper.
12. Put the screw in through the wall bumper before attaching it to the wall.
13. When placing the wall bumper against the wall, ensure it is in full contact with the drywall so it fits perfectly.

14. Hold the wall bumper in place and do not move it, as shifting it may cause misalignment and lead to an unsuccessful installation.
15. Drive the screw in slowly to control depth and ensure it engages the anchor. If over-tightened, it may loosen and prevent the door handle from properly contacting the wall bumper.
16. A screwdriver may be easier to use because it lets you feel when the screw is tight and helps prevent overdriving compared to a drill.
17. Don't leave it loose because the wall bumper will fall off over time.

18. Make sure the door handle hits the wall bumper at the center, with the handle lock fitting properly into the bumper opening.
19. Ensure the screw is not sticking out of the wall bumper, as it can affect how the door handle lock makes contact.
