Steps:

1. Wedge either a fingernail or opening tool into the notch and pull the back cover of the device off, revealing the battery bay.

2. Place an opening tool or finger in the gap at the bottom of the battery bay, and use leverage to remove the battery from the device.
3. When replacing the battery, ensure the metal grooves are connected to the metal prongs on the right side of the bay first, and then press the battery in, almost like a hinge connected at the top.
