Steps:
- If your backpack strap is not fully removed, cut the threads holding the strap to the backpack, or gently pull threads out.

- Do not cut too much of the backpack strap as you will use what is left over to sew it into the backpack.

- Caution: If not safe, the lighter can cause you and your item damage, please use carefully.
- Place the strap into the area where it will be reattached and hold it in place using a pin.
- Make sure that you place a significant amount of the strap into the reattachment area .
- Caution: The pin is sharp and can hurt you if not careful.
- Cut your thread generously and run the thread through the needle.
- Make a knot at the end by looping the thread around your finger and inserting the thread into the loop.
- Do this twice.
- Insert the needle through the backpack strap and pull it through.
- From the backside of the backpack, insert the needle to the right of the original insertion.
- From the front, insert the needle a little to the left of the original insertion and pull it through to create a backhand stitch.
- Caution: The needle is very small and sharp and can easily hurt you.
- If a beginner, it is recommended to use a thimble.
- After repeating the process run the needle through the back of one of your seams.
- Pull the thread through the created loop and pull to create a knot. Do this twice.
