Steps:
- The trickiest bit of repairing these headphones is to get the cup off. The cups are press fit with about 8 little tabs. Gently pry off with spudger while avoiding ripping the fabric.
- To help with the repair we are going to remove the ear cup from the band. This will let the cup lay flat while making repairs. Remove the two screws and lift with spudger near foam pad.
- With the cup laying flat you can now remove the four screws holding the cup together. Once removed the speaker lifts easily from the cup.
- On the backside of the cup you can see where the speaker wire broke. I soldered it back in place to repair.
