Steps:

  1. Take everything out of the drawer.

  3. Take out the sticky drawer from the cabinet.

  5. Grab the drawer.
  6. Find the uneven edges and paint build-up.

  8. Wipe down the drawer, getting rid of all dirt and debris.
  9. Be careful of splinters.

  11. Sand the edges down using sand paper. This will create smooth edges to get rid of any paint build-up and even out uneven edges.
  12. Make sure you sand down all the sides including the bottom.

  14. Take the wax and put it onto a new towel.
  15. Make sure you put a good amount of wax onto the towel.

  17. Wax all the sides and edges, creating a smooth and slippery surface.

  19. Let the wax rest for an hour before returning it to the cabinet.
  20. Check if its smooth!

  22. Put the drawer back into its place, and you are done!
