Description:

Steps:

  1. I dedicated a previous document, which you have at: Secadora BOSCH WDT75
  2. On this occasion I am repeating the preventive maintenance (lubrication and cleaning) the following year, showing how the machine is doing.
  3. Step image Step image
  4. Teardown of the 2 motor shaft cover screws, cleaning the area with a cloth, and lubricating the shaft with fine oil and petroleum jelly
  5. Step image Step image Step image
  6. Lubricate with oil and petroleum jelly, install the cover.
  7. Step image Step image Step image
  8. Remove the bottom cover screws, clean the entire area with a vacuum, and clean the motor cooling fan with a brush and vacuum.
  9. Step image Step image Step image
  10. Remove the thick layer of accumulated lint that is preventing the drum from spinning; I do this by hand, using tweezers and a screwdriver, and by running the thin nozzle of a vacuum cleaner through it.
  11. Step image Step image Step image
  12. Clean the top part, sides, and part of the electronic board, removing all accumulated dust. Reinstall the back cover and top cover.
  13. I hope that with this maintenance and lubrication, I can add another year of use to the machine, now that it is clean and its axle is lubricated.
  14. END of the guide.
