Steps:

1. Push out the retaining pin from the inside and remove the door knob.

2. Unscrew and remove the decorative cover.

3. Remove the two mounting screws and pull the lock body out from the outside.

4. Locate the slot on the lock body that engages with the lock cylinder.
5. Turn the knob to retract the latch bolt and open the door.
6. Note its position for reassembly.

7. Remove the lock cylinder fixing screw.
8. Keep all removed screws and small parts organized for reassembly.

9. Take out the lock cylinder.

10. Compare the replacement lock cylinder with the original.
11. Prepare a replacement lock cylinder of the same size and ensure the correct installation orientation.

12. Insert the new lock cylinder into the door opening and secure it with the fixing screw.

13. Reinstall the lock body from the outside.
14. Make sure the slot properly engages with the lock cylinder.
15. Then turn the exterior knob and verify that the latch retracts normally.

16. Tighten the adjustment screws for both the interior and exterior knobs.
17. Tighten the decorative cover of the interior knob.

18. Push the knob firmly inward until it is fully seated in place.

19. Turn both the interior and exterior knobs to verify that the latch operates correctly and the door opens normally.
