Steps:

  1. Push out the retaining pin from the inside and remove the door knob.

  8. Turn the knob to retract the latch bolt and open the door.
  9. Note its position for reassembly.

  12. Keep all removed screws and small parts organized for reassembly.

  16. Compare the replacement lock cylinder with the original.
  17. Prepare a replacement lock cylinder of the same size and ensure the correct installation orientation.
