JLAB Pop Party Battery Recovery
ID: 220574
Description: Some new in box old stock JLAB Pop Party...
Steps:
- The cover is held in with friction and very minor glue. Insert a plastic thin spudger or other thin item to the edge of the fabric cover and gently pry upwards. Eventually it will pop up slightly allowing you to insert a slim object like a guitar pick or old gift card and open the upper half of the device.
- Underneath the cover is one short phillips screw on the side opposite the strap that is recessed, and four holding the speaker in place. Remove all five.
- The battery is held into the "bottom" half so do not pull too hard or insert sharp objects or you will damage it. You can wiggle the battery out of the case and have the device pulled apart.
- The batteries in these units may have gotten so low that the low voltage cutoff will turn off. Strip the plastic cover off and use a recovery charger to get the battery recovered and the unit is now ready to play music again.
