Steps:
- Use an opening tool to remove each of the two rubber feet near the laptop hinges.
- The rubber feet are connected using adhesive, so you'll have to use a little bit of force to get them off. If you intend to reuse the feet, take care not to warp or tear them.
- Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two 6.4 mm-long silver screws.
- Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the remaining eleven 6.4 mm-long black screws securing the lower case.
- Insert an opening pick or opening tool into the seam between the lower case and chassis.
- Pry around the entire perimeter until the lower case is fully released.
- Remove the lower case.
