Garmin Zumo 396 Power Button

ID: 239001

Description: Unfortunately, the Garmin power button is not...

Steps:

  1. Cut a block 11 mm x 5.6 mm / 3 mm deep from a piece of hard rubber. I used a seal from a gas can (a door bumper also works)

  3. Cut a piece out of an old bicycle inner tube and glue on the rubber block

  5. trim the edges and test the fitment function in the Zumo

  7. Then, apply adhesive to the rubber mat only along the outer bezel and, after curing, seal the edge again with adhesive (I used T-7000 adhesive).
  8. The microswitch can now be actuated again by pressing on the center, and the Zumo 396 is protected against rain once more.
