Steps:

1. Turn off the the cell phone.
2. Locate the the arrow at the top of the back cover.
3. Slide the cover downward until the cover comes off.

4. Completely remove the back cover, and the battery should be visible.
5. Locate the gap at the bottom right.
6. Use your thumb to pop out the battery.

7. The battery can be easily removed once it's lose. The ID tag should be visible after the battery is removed.
8. Be careful of damaged battery. Inspect the battery for crack, rupture of the plastic, excessive leaking, or discoloration. Remove the battery carefully if it appears damaged.
