Steps:

1. Using the medium crescent wrench, unscrew the safety valve by twisting it counter-clockwise.
2. The safety valve may be difficult to unscrew because of corrosion.

3. Apply teflon tape to the replacement safety valve.
4. The teflon tape should be wound tightly around the entire threaded portion of the safety valve.
