LG G Watch R Teardown

Description: This is a simple teardown of the LG G watch R.

Steps:

1. LG G Watch R assembly.

2. First remove the watch band using a small flat screw driver to compress the spring loaded pin.
3. Remove the four T4 torx screws (Green).
4. Carefully pry the base off using a thin flat screw driver

5. Disconnect the four electrical connectors from the board
6. Orange - Battery connector
7. Blue - button and charging connector
8. Green - Backlight
9. Purple - O-LED Controller + Mic
10. Remove the three phillips screws securing the board down. Then lift the board off the base

11. The battery is below the board.
12. The battery can easily be pried out using a small flat head screwdriver.

13. Using a small pliers and a small flat screwdriver the battery housing comes out easily.

15. The screen is glued in.
