Steps:

1. First, locate the battery compartment found at the top, underneath the machine.
2. Use your thumbs to push the switch locks inward.

3. Upon removing the cover you will be met with the current battery.
4. Take note of the orientation of the current battery and carefully locate the lock switch at the middle bottom of the battery and remove it, then set the replacement battery inside the reverse way you removed the old one to install it.

5. Replace the battery while holding the lock switches inward to install it securely.
6. Check to make sure the lock switch are back into the lock position and the battery cover is flush with the rest of the laptop frame.
7. Now you are able to safely plug back in your charger to test the battery.
