Steps:

  5. The speed control knob is easy to disassemble by inserting a knife blade under the graduated circle and prying it up.
  6. There are three obstacles to the removal of the motor and electronics module from this mixer:
  7. The entire motor block enclosure is firmly secured with adhesive.
  8. This motor bearing fastener acts as a circular mount.
  9. This plunger system fastener is a second circular mount.
  10. I do not see a way around any of these three issues without a certain amount of "destruction".

  11. One of the two leads has broken off. Possibly made fragile by improper assembly?
  12. Correctly resoldering the lead lets the motor operate normally again.
