Steps:

  1. Unplug the microwave oven.
  2. Clean the surface of all grease residue with alcohol or acetone.

  3. Remove the glass tray and roller ring
  4. Remove the stuck rust with steel wool.
  5. Wipe away any debris with a dry cloth

  6. Shake the tin
  7. Apply a thin coat with the brush
  8. Give the paint at least 6 hours to dry
  9. Apply 1 or 2 more coats as appriopriate

  10. Allow time for the paint coatings to dry properly, ideally overnight with the door open.
  11. Replace roller ring and tray. Plug your oven to the power outlet.
  12. You are now ready to use your microwave oven again!
