Steps:

  1. Remove the battery by pressing the battery lock down and slide the battery cover away.
  2. Step image
  3. Lift the bottom of the battery and then move it up and away.

  5. Locate the 4 screws holes on the phone and remove them with the #000 Philips Head screwdriver. (See red circles)
  6. Step image
  7. Using the plastic opening tool, gently pry open the back piece of the phone.
  8. Make sure to do this very carefully, as the back part of the phone is very thin and fragile.
  9. Step image
  10. Use the metal prying tool to gently flick up the rectangular connector. (Because this device is on the smaller side, the rectangular connector may only need a simple flick with the prying tool)
  11. Simply flick the rectangular connector up from its socket. (Highlighted by the red square)
  12. Step image
  13. Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry up the motherboard.
  14. You may need to pry the motherboard up from several angles in order to remove it.
  15. Step image
  16. After the connector has been removed you will gently pull off the mother board, which will reveal the rubber keypad.
  17. Step image
  18. Replace the faulty keypad, and reassemble the phone.
