Steps:

1. Power off your device.
2. Insert a pin, paper clip, or very small piece of metal into the hole next to the micro SIM card holder to remove it.
3. The SIM card slot is located on the top edge of the device.

4. Using plastic opening tools, pry open the bottom of the device first.
5. You will hear clicking sounds as the sides of the device detach from the screen.
6. Once both sides are detached use the suction cup tool to remove the screen completely from the black casing.

7. Remove the five 2.4mm screws using a Phillips head screw driver and then remove the plastic cover.

8. Remove the two 3.4 mm JIS #000 screws from the PCB board.
9. Remove the PCB board and antenna.

10. Use tweezers to disconnect the power button flex cable.
11. Disconnect the touch screen flex cable

12. Disconnect the battery from the logic board by detaching the six pin connector.
13. Remove the battery by pulling upwards.
