Steps:

1. Before disassembling your ZTE Avail 2, be sure it is powered off.
2. Remove the back cover using the notch at the bottom of the device.
3. Pull the back cover from the front panel gently to remove it.

4. Remove the battery by the notch in the back plate.
5. Once you have removed the battery replace it with the new one.
6. Carefully insert the new battery with the connectors aligned correctly.
7. Gently push down on the battery until it clicks into place.
