Steps:

1. Place computer with the screen down on a flat surface.
2. Push the two locking latches to the unlocked position.
3. Push the cover toward the top of the computer and lift up.

4. Place your finger on the latch on top of the CMOS battery on the bottom corner of the motherboard.
5. Pinch the latch to unlock the battery.

6. Pry the battery up from the sides to remove it.
