Steps:

1. Using a drill, drill out enough of the rivet head so that the rivet may be removed.
2. If the rivet spins, use pliers or a flat head screw driver to hold the rivet in place

3. Once you have dissembled the legs and spreader struts

4. Cut spreader strut to 200mm
5. use a punch to mark the centre of the spreader strut
6. drill 6mm hole through spreader strut
7. round end off to replicate the original end, with a file

8. Legs should be cut down to 400 mm
