Steps:

1. Remove bottom screws.

2. Remove side cover upper screws.

3. Remove cassette side cover.

4. Remove (2) rear screws on viewfinder side of cover.

5. Remove (3) electrical connecters in order to pull side cover away from camcorder to expose back side of viewfinder.

6. Remove (2) screws from viewfinder mount and electrical connecter, gently remove viewfinder unit from side cover.

7. Your viewfinder is now detached from camcorder.
